GSLR

How has the GSLR scheme impacted you?

The GSLR scheme opened in June 2020 and extends the existing Whistler Drive to Bruce Smeaton Way at the Cutsyke Road roundabout. It aimed to provide a more direct route to the leisure/retail area from Wakefield and Normanton, reduce congestion on the A639/A6539 corridor and improve accessibility. It also aimed to improve conditions for bus services, pedestrians and cyclists, and support the delivery of new homes and employment opportunities through improved connectivity.

Take part in our telephone survey and you could win a high street voucher worth £250!

As a local resident, we’d like you to let us know how the GSLR scheme has impacted you, for example, if it has made your journeys easier. That’s why we are asking research company Spirul, working on behalf of West Yorkshire Combined Authority, to conduct a telephone survey with you.

To have your say, please complete the form below and Spirul will call you for a short telephone interview at your preferred time.

You can choose to be entered into our free prize draw to win £250 to spend in-store at over 80 retailers or spend online in over 30 retailers. The closing date for entries is 17 May 2024.
